Ozonesonde Launch at Pole

Every couple of weeks during this past summer season, Andy Clarke of NOAA launched a weather balloon with an ozonesonde in order to take detailed measurements of the ozone hole. I just happened to be at the Pole on the day of a launch and took this documentation that includes some explanation from Andy. In 4 parts, click on the video for part 2, 3 and 4 on youtube.

The Dome at the Pole
